I have been driven by my passion for midwifery since witnessing childbirth during my schooling years. This transformative experience ignited a fire within me, which was further fueled by my midwifery training. As a midwife, and mother of 2 sons, I have the privilege of facilitating labour, providing emotional support, and empowering women to achieve positive birth experiences. My personal philosophy is encapsulated in my poignant quote: “Every mum is unique, every birth is a miracle, and there’s a miracle in every birth.” This compassionate and holistic approach underscores my unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care and support to women and families throughout their reproductive journey.
With over 25 years of experience in the maternity sector, I am proud to have established myself as a highly respected and accomplished midwife specialist, fertility nurse, nurse educator, and entrepreneur. I am the proud owner of Birth on 5th, a pioneering low-risk home birth unit, and have played a pivotal role in establishing Oxford Midwifery. My extensive experience in fertility has enabled me to support countless individuals and couples in their journey to parenthood. I have been privileged to work with fertility clinics and have been an esteemed guest speaker at fertility conferences. My commitment to education and empowerment extends to my contributions as a columnist for Bloss Magazine, as well as my regular appearances on television, radio, and educational programs. As a devoted educator, I impart my knowledge and expertise through lectures for midwifery students and training programs for aspiring doulas.
