Married to Tony for 37 years, two children. I have been passionate about the rights of women to give birth to their children since my mother described her own home birth to me as a little girl. I believe in empowering women to become mothers, men to become fathers, and families to be strong and healthy. Nature’s Way.
Qualified as a nurse in 1983 in Johannesburg. Trained as a midwife in England and qualified with an 18 month in 1985, went on to do my BSC in midwifery, inn Scotland in 1992. Trained with the national childbirth trust as a breastfeeding consultant. I have been working as an independent midwife in South Africa continuously since 1997.
