I’m a mom of 2 who was assisted by a Midwife in both my pregnancies. This was the experience that changed my life and reshaped my career for good. I was introduced to sensitive Midwifery and this is the experience I wish all pregnant could have. To have a dedicated care provider who looks at each client holistically so they have a beautiful birthing experience with a healthy mother and baby.
I have been practicing as a Midwife for 13 years., most of which were in private hospitals within SA, and have been in private practice for 5 years. My experience ranges from complicated pregnancies and births within a hospital with the support of an Obstetrician to healthy and low-risk pregnancies and births in birth centres and homes. provide antenatal care (monitoring and early detection of complications), support women in labour and birth, and then follow up postnatal care for mom and baby with a focus on breastfeeding, women’s reproductive health and family planning.
