I believe that education and informed decisions eradicate fear of childbirth, therefore I will educate, assist, guide and support pregnant mums, but also honour their decisions to birth safely in the way nature intended it to be. It is an absolute privilege to play a role in other people’s best moments of their lives.
I gained experience working as a midwife in perinatal wards of different government hospitals and clinics until 2008. Then in perinatal wards of private hospitals until I started as a sessional midwife at Genesis MOU, while assisting with home births and graduated Cum Laude in advanced midwifery and neonatology in 2012.
