Xoli Makabane is a mother of 3 kids herself. I’m passionate about empowering families with quality care so that they better start in life through support during antenatal care and extending this service further by doing postnatal care at home so that families can be supported with medical care even post birthing. My birthing experience should be enjoyable and the end goal is healthy mom and baby. It can’t be a beautiful vaginal birth at the cost of both.
I have been a midwife for more than 34 years. During this I have worked in various sector. 12 years I worked for state hospitals gathering much knowledge and attained advanced Midwifery I worked for Private hospitals as midwife for 5 years and then started my private practice in 2004 when Linkwood opened I’m still doing mostly hospital births todate
